Artist of the Week: Dria Simone Week of 1/18-1/25

If someone in Chicago is doing big things it is Dria Simone ya digg! This dedicated 18 year old Chicago native has been making a name for herself since the age of 4, when she won her first beauty pageant. As you can see, she has been performing and entertaining ever since and never looked back. Her dedication has spoke to her family and fans whether its dancing, acting, and modeling. Dria Simone can be compared to a Beyonce like energy with a beautiful voice packaged with flawless looks and dance skills. Unlike a lot of artists, Dria embraces all forms of music ranging from pop, r&b, hip-hop and even jazz. Who knows maybe the Gemini Twinz will make a song with her one day...lol Speaking of making songs, she is currently at work with producer sensation "John Boi" (producer of American Gangster)She performs at every opportunity she can. She performs thru out the Midwest & south. In 2008 she opened up for the Ying-Yang Twins in ATL. She has been in numerous local talent showcases in the Chicagoland area, where she has been the winner in several. Recently she won the first round of the Chi Town Idol, now she move on to the finals. She has been featured on local radio stations in Chicago & Indiana as well as local cable shows & papers.
