Hustla Of The Week T'era Currin 1/25 through 2/2/2010

              This beautiful woman’s name is T'era Rochelle Currin and she considers herself to be an aspiring model from Chicago. Now it is very hard to make it out of Chicago seeing the earlier examples, but T’era doesn’t back down. She’s a triple threat in the modeling business as a runway, print, and promo model. With the mind of an entrepreneur she has three ways to make that bread and gain exposure if not more in the modeling business alone. 

          

            Though it may seem she has been modeling with ages of experience she’s only been modeling since the age of 16 doing her first fashion show with Cinderella's boutique. She smirked and added that she fell in love with modeling   the first time she hit the runway. From that point on this future mogul knew it was something she was born to do. To add on to her resume she also competed in the pageant world but modeling and art has always had her heart. She was always told that she should be a model but surprisingly this flawless woman never had the confidence to pursue it, but now she lives by the motto Never Doubt Just Fly and that mindset has without a doubt gotten her to where she is today also of course with the help of God too. She has done a lot of fashion shows over the past year and grabbed the jackpot having the rare privilege of becoming a cover girl for Mario INK and being on display in over 3 states for the Body Paint Festival also in Austria which she insists is the highlight of her career so far. Currin has also has been doing promo/charity work for the Danny Clark Foundation. 

               




               She admits the road has not been easy under the circumstances that she had to do a lot of work by herself, but by the grace of God the inspiring young woman has made it this far. She realizes that she is very fortunate to have the love and support from her loving family and friends also complete strangers, “They're all my motivation! I'm a very driven and ambitious person. I BELIEVE that I will leave my mark on this earth. So for now I'm just getting started, but I plan to keep flying. This is to anyone out there with a dream; believe in yourself, see yourself doing big things then make those dreams your reality!” Those words couldn’t have been better said.

Q.  It's all good to see that u doing your thing nonstop but what can you personally say is the thing you enjoy doing most?
A.  Thank You, even though modeling is my heart i have to say just getting away for about an hour or two to draw or paint is the one thing i love doing the most. Its an awesome way to get away from this crazy world you can call it my drug lol.

Q. Do you sometimes find yourself becoming stressed with the nonstop work you do?
A. Yes, at times it can be very stressful with working fulltime and I know once I start school its going to be a bit hectic but then again nothing is worth doing if its not a lil struggle involved, it makes you appreciate what you do that much more.

Q.  With the tragedy that just took place in Haiti what did you contribute to the relief and what are you planning to do to help the victims in the future?
A.  I've donated money my heart goes out to the people out there, what I want to do is maybe put on an art show and raise more money to send to the victims.

Q. Where do you wanna be at the end of 2010?

A. Oh man at the end of 2010 I want to be signed with elite,I want to hopefully have started my biz. I honestly want to be anywhere God leads me to go which i know will be further then where I am now!

Q. What advice would you have for any aspiring young adults that need guidance?

A. My advice is to simply keep your sense of self in whatever you do! It’s so important to stay humble and keep a leveled head, also to have faith in yourself! NEVER DOUBT JUST FLY!

Q. What projects are you currently working on?

A. Right now I have a few shows coming up for next month and I'm also working on putting together a show myself which should be all done by the summer! lol and I'm always working on a new art piece!

Q. Who has most inspired you to work as hard as you do?

A. I have to say my family and friends even complete strangers! It means the world to me to get a message from a young girl saying that I inspire her or from my family saying that they're proud of me! Thats my motivation to keep working because I know that someone is always watching!
